A little about me.

I'm Sarah, the photographer behind Sarah Faith Photography in Steveston Village, Richmond.

I photograph newborns, children and families, which means I spend a surprising amount of time on the floor negotiating with toddlers. If you watched one of my sessions with the sound off, you might have a few questions.

Before photography, I spent nearly 30 years in healthcare. Nursing taught me to read the room, pay attention to people and know when to change the plan. All rather useful when working with children.

We're empty nesters now, although with four rescue animals running the house, it's hardly quiet. I like bright spaces, Scandinavian design and keeping things simple. The animals have other ideas.

I bring that same approach to photography. I want to know more than who's in the picture. I want to understand who you are together and the story you've asked me to tell.
