We can keep things simple with first birthday portraits that show off all that new personality, or bring out a cake and see what happens.
Some babies dive straight in. Others are deeply suspicious of the whole arrangement. Either way, there's plenty to photograph.
Just your baby, a little room to explore, and cake if that's part of the plan. No elaborate set needed.
